The Summers: Cooking 101! I taught Millie and 3 of her friends how to make fajitas. They all pitched right in and did it! 4-12-08

After dinner they played some pool. Up next they're making Sinful Sundae's (just like the Outback Restaurant) and watching "Field of Dreams" since Ty is the pitcher on the North H.S. basball team. Recipe for Sinful Sundaes as follow: 1. Scoop Vanilla 2. Hot Fudge 3. Toasted Coconut 4. Fresh Strawberries 5. Nuts

The Things They Say 2008....

Kevin says...

"Girls! It's 'similar' too, not 'like'!"

"Please take me off Speaker Phone!"

"Where's the phone?"

Stacy says...

"So what's your favorite thing your mom fixes for dinner?"

"I seriously make the cutest babies!!"

"Did you take your Vit C? Mmmm, take more."

Millie (14) says...

"I do not like those stairs! It's not funny anymore!"

"I need some zeebra print heels!!!!"

Sophie (12) says...

"May I ride my bike to the 'Windy City'?" (cafe)

"We're gonna be late!"

Chloe (9) says...

"It's a flutter of scents in the air!"

"I proclaim! I just tried my first egg salad sandwich!"

Gracie (5) says...

"May we go to the Caymen Islands today?"

"When is Who-Ya Class?" (karate)

"That's the grossest ever that I saw!" (Compost bin!)

"Hey, strawberries fight cancer!"

Gracie brought me a brush & scrunchie, turned her back to me, stuck her head back & said, "Mother, prepare for duty!"

While at the Farmers Market, Gracie pointed to a lady & ask, "Is she Mexican?" Kevin told her she was Hmong. Gracie then said, "Oh, so she speaks Hmong & Human?"

We're hoping Grandma Bev & Grandpa Norm from ID can come visit us soon. When I mentioned gas & airline tickets cost lots of money Gracie said matter of factly, "Well... how 'bout they pogostick over."

A boy at school said a bodily function word and Gracie said to me, "I laughed off my head!" (Instead of "I laughed my head off!")

While Kevin & the girls were at Subway, Gracie ask him, "Why does Mama always order water & you order soda?" Before he could answer she said, "Ah, I know because Mama is healthy... you're more junkie & a little healthy!"
