only to catch a ball and then realize her right pinky was perpendicular and jutting out opposite the direction of her hand.
OUCH!
She talked the coach into letting her finish the game and scored 2 goals, winning the game!
Then off to the hand surgeon... broken in the joint and the outside of the finger. Well, no more soccer the rest of the season and a million visits to the doctor. Fortunately with PT, she was able to skirt surgery and is now left with a very crooked little finger.
